Notre Dame of Maryland University located in northern Baltimore City was named the #11 Best Women’s College in America in College Choice’s 2015 ranking. The ranking is based off of factors that college freshmen identified as most important to their college decision, including reputation, financial aid, cost, and success of graduates in the job market.

Here’s what College Choice had to say about Notre Dame of Maryland University:

Notre Dame of Maryland holds the distinction of being the first Catholic college in the U.S. to award four-year baccalaureate degrees. The school’s liberal arts programs place a high priority on service learning and integrates service, service trips, and service projects throughout the undergraduate experience. Students can choose from more than 30 majors offered through the schools of Pharmacy, Nursing, Arts and Sciences, and Education. The refreshing campus is situated in a student nucleus where over 120,000 students from eleven nearby colleges and universities pursue their academic and social interests. Women’s undergraduate programming is offered at the Women’s College, but Notre Dame of Maryland also offers co-ed programs at its College of Adult Undergraduate Studies and its College of Graduate Studies.
